Violeta Londono completed her undergraduate studies at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Medellin, Colombia) in 2019. She focused on evaluating the volumetric mass transfer coefficient (kLa) for the Bacillus megaterium system: waste glycerol in batch cultures. Londono started as a master's/PhD student (2021) in the plant science program at KAUST and joined the stress granules laboratory under professor Monika Chodasiewicz's supervision. She is currently studying the stress granule's dynamic and is interested in protein interactions.
Violeta Londono Velez is focused on studying protein and metabolite interactions by molecular biology techniques in plant biotechnology.
