Biography

Jordan earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Food Science from IPB University, Indonesia. He has been active as a researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN) since 2021. In 2023, he joined KAUST as a PhD student and is currently working under Prof. Monika in the Stress Granule Group. His core expertise lies in NMR- and mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, with research spanning medicinal plants, crop plants, and food analysis. His main projects include Alzheimer’s drug discovery from medicinal plants collected across diverse geolocations, amyloid-beta protein aggregation kinetics, and the study of stress granule kinetics in sesame from different genotypes under heat stress.
